Mayor’s Show Gets A Special Guest Appearance?

Why not come and join me at the Mayors Charity Show being held at The Public Arts Centre where one of the guest appearances will be the ‘King of Rock’.

Yes, I will be slicking back my hair and belting out My Way at the special charity fundraiser, with all money raised  going to the Alzheimer’s Society and Macmillan Cancer Support.

I will be joined on the night by council staff and their friends for the variety style show which will also feature other singers, plus dancers and comedians.

I have been practicing a few numbers and will be performing them in true Elvis style – as far as I’m concerned he was the King of rock and roll music, and there has never been anyone else that comes near him.  He ranks as high in my estimation as that other great man who gets the ‘King’ nickname – Baggies legend Jeff Astle!

I’m sure it will be a great show and the bottom line is that it is all about raising much-needed cash for two worthy causes.

Tickets for the show on March 26, are £6 and are available from The Public box office on 0121 533 7139 or The Mayor’s office on 0121 569 3041/3076.

Doors open at 6.30pm and the show starts at 7pm.

I would also like to wish everyone a healthy and happy 2011.

Thank You Very Much!!
