There’s a bostin’ event coming up in Wednesbury later this month.
Every year, a bunch of people interested in dialects get together to mark National Dialect Day.
From Black Country to Lancashire, Yorkshire to Cumbria, the event attracts people from all over the country.
It’s become so popular, the event is now held across a whole weekend. And this year, it’s coming to Wednesbury.
There’s music, poetry performances, competitions, traditional Black Country grub and lots more.
It’s happening at Wednesbury Town Hall from Friday 16th October to Sunday 19th October.
Tickets are £15 for the whole weekend or you can just go along for a day or a specific event.
There’s so much happening I couldn’t list it all here. But you’ll find more details and how to get tickets on Wednesbury Poet Laureate Brendan Hawthorne’s website.
