One of Sandwell’s most popular campaigns is coming back for another year.
The Big Spring Clean will return for 2012 to help keep Sandwell sparking.
During the last six years, more than 19,000 volunteers, including those from schools, community groups and local businesses, have signed up to take part in the campaign.
The Big Spring Clean gives people in the borough the chance to make a difference to their local area. As well as litter picking, the campaign has run a number of other activities including planting, painting and landscaping.
And thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment shown to The Big Spring Clean by Sandwell’s residents, the council and its waste partner Serco have brought it back yet again. To get involved in this year’s Big Spring Clean, please email bigspringclean.sandwell@serco.com
